In late January 1987, my boyfriend, whom I had been with for over a year, and I went to the "Somewhere on Tour" concert in Jacksonville, Fl. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to go because I was 17 and my stepfather despised my boyfriend. I went to college that Summer, then quit and returned home. In 1989, I married that boyfriend and have been with him ever since. One of my Bucket List items was to take him to see Silversun Pickups. He has worked so hard for my family and has supported me through my health issues and all the "Adult" problems that many couples face. I was able to get tickets for him, my 28-year-old son who plays electric guitar, and my youngest, who was 19 and is a long-haired rocker in his own right. Everything was perfect for me. I got to see my wonderful husband, who deeply loves Silversun Pickups, and my two children, who grew up listening to Maiden their whole lives. It was such a wonderful experience and a huge check on my bucket list. Thank you so much!
